As a reformer, he stood against tyranny, injustice and ignorance. He sacrificed his life, family and companions, including his six-month old son. The women and children were taken as prisoners.
Hussain (pbuh) said: Certainly, I don’t see death except as a blessing and living under oppressors as destruction.
