Its fundamental aim is to promote education, intra- and interfaith dialogue, enhance the understanding of Islam and encourage citizen empowerment and community development. It has also held a general consultative status at the UN ECOSOC since 1998.<br \/>\nAgainst the backdrop of this far-reaching vision, Al-Zahra School first opened their doors in 1991 and were subsequently registered as Al-Zahra School.<br \/>\nThe school is named after distinguished Islamic personality: Sayeda Fatima Al-Zahra (daughter of Prophet Muhammad).<br \/>\nThe Al-Khoei Foundation has founded similar educational establishments across the world, including the USA, Canada, Thailand and Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspections<\/strong><br \/>\nAl-Zahra Schools has been accredited as a member of the Independent School Association (ISA). Consequently, we qualified to be inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), a regulatory body for independent schools.
